The Yorkton Cardinals (9-14) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the Melville Millionaires (11-14) on Tuesday.
While the Yorkton Cardinals led until the seventh inning, the Melville Millionaires worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Tanner Houston.
Steven Bunnell picked up the win for the Melville Millionaires. Bunnell allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Vin Whitenight ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
