Greg Rogers went 1-2, sparking the Regina Red Sox (17-10) to a 4-3 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals (9-13) on Sunday at Currie Field.

He singled in the third inning.

Labradford Griffis got the win for the Regina Red Sox thanks to six strikeouts. Griffis allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Easton Etter brought the heat against the Regina Red Sox during his outing. Etter gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Jeff Pool ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
