The Weyburn Beavers (7-14) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring six runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 16-3 landslide win over the Edmonton Prospects (12-14) at Telus Field.

Marticorena racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Weyburn Beavers.

Cory Duggan couldn't get it done on the mound for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Weyburn Beavers hammered the Edmonton Prospects pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 17 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
