Saturday was a great day for Justin Blue, as Blue tossed eight scoreless innings to carry the Regina Red Sox (13-7) to a 7-1 victory over the Weyburn Beavers (6-12) at Currie Field.

The Regina Red Sox's bats came to life in the fourth inning. In the inning the Regina Red Sox scored four runs. The Regina Red Sox scored in the fourth on an error, an RBI single by Dylan Blaha, an RBI single by Blaha, an RBI single by Blaha, and an RBI single by Greg Rogers.

Brian Frazier racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Regina Red Sox. He singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Riley Schaaf was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out four.
