Javy Marticorena clubbed three home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Weyburn Beavers (6-11) to a win on Friday, as the Weyburn Beavers fell to the Moose Jaw Miller Express (12-7) 9-7 at Ross Wells Park.
Miles Hunter went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the first and fifth innings and homered in the eighth inning.
The Moose Jaw Miller Express got the win thanks in large part to Terry McNabb's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. McNabb allowed three earned runs, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.
