Both the Medicine Hat Mavericks (10-5) and the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (4-9) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Medicine Hat Mavericks that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 10-5 win at Athletic Park.

Jake Hein ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
