Both the Moose Jaw Miller Express (7-5) and the Swift Current Indians (5-6) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Moose Jaw Miller Express that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-5 win at Ross Wells Park.

Frank Pluskota racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Swift Current Indians' Taylor Steen. Steen went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Brandon Acosta got his second win for the Moose Jaw Miller Express despite allowing five runs over eight innings. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Justin Kehler couldn't get it done on the bump for the Swift Current Indians, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
