Whitehead allowed six hits, one walk and struck out four.

The Yorkton Cardinals left no doubt in the outcome with six runs in the seventh. The Yorkton Cardinals scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Georgie Santiago, a two-run double by Austin Drummonds, a two-run single by Ben Grillo, and an RBI single by Matt Collier.

Drummonds racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Yorkton Cardinals.

Jesse Baird (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
