Steve Hazel drove in four runs as the Regina Red Sox (5-2) took home a 9-7 victory over the Weyburn Beavers (3-3) at Tom Laing Park on Sunday.

The Weyburn Beavers were led by Spencer Mallonee's hitting. Mallonee went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Kevin Hand got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over 2 1/3 innings. Hand struck out one, walked five and gave up three hits.

Nick Salentine was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
