The Swift Current Indians (1-4) blew out the Edmonton Prospects (4-3) 12-2 on Saturday at Mitchell Field after pouring on eight runs in the third inning.

The Swift Current Indians scored in the third on an RBI single by Justin Lee, a two-run single by Taylor Steen, a two-run double by Owen Hunter, a groundout by Chad Schultz, an RBI double by Zach Dibble, and an RBI double by Matt Spillman.

Hunter racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Swift Current Indians.

Sean Callegari's six strikeouts helped the Swift Current Indians to the victory. Callegari allowed no earned runs on six hits and two walks over six innings.

Bo Lewington pitched lights out for the Edmonton Prospects. The Swift Current Indians managed just one hit off of Lewington, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Noah Gapp was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out four.
