Saturday was a great day for Dylan Dyson, as he hit two home runs to carry the Lethbridge Bulls (4-3) to a 10-1 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (1-4) at Seaman Stadium.
Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Lethbridge Bulls to easily put away the Okotoks Dawgs. An RBI single by Kade Billeaudeux during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Lethbridge Bulls.
The Okotoks Dawgs had no answer for Alex Regan, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Okotoks Dawgs managed just two hits off of the the Lethbridge Bulls' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Mark Riendeau got on base two times in the game for the Okotoks Dawgs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
Chris Sievers (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
The Lethbridge Bulls' Trevor Sakatch, Dyson and Brandon Bufton combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
