Landon Briscoe was cold coming off the bench, but Briscoe warmed up quickly as Briscoe stroked a key pinch-hit double in the four to lead the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (3-2) to an 11-7 win over the Swift Current Indians (0-4) on Friday at Cairns Field, Saskatoon, SK.

With the score tied at four in the fourth inning, Briscoe came to the plate and doubled.

Bryan Heward did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets, reaching base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning.

Matt Spillman reached base six times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth inning.

Tatum Hendrix got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over four innings. Hendrix struck out three, walked six and gave up three hits.
