Garrett Wiese drove in four runs as the Medicine Hat Mavericks (6-1) took home an 8-5 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (1-5) at Seaman Stadium on Thursday.

Taylor Fish was solid at the plate for the Okotoks Dawgs. Fish went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Bryce Feia improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed three runs over 3 2/3 innings. Feia struck out none, walked none and gave up three hits.

Andrew Moralez (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
