Miscue gives the Champion City Kings 4-3 walk-off victory over the West Virginia Miners

A walk-off error from Brent Hermanussen brought home the winning run for the Champion City Kings (21-38) in a 4-3 victory over the West Virginia Miners (37-22) at Davidson Stadium on Monday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Champion City Kings' Hermanussen. Hermanussen went 2-3 and drove in one. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth innings.

Preston Szuch pitched lights out for the Champion City Kings. Szuch held the West Virginia Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Evan Dunn got the win, running his season record to 1-3. Dunn struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Seth Noreman was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
