Dominic Miles went 1-3, sparking the Quincy Gems (38-20) to a 7-5 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (37-22) on Sunday at Quincy Stadium.

Ryan Sabo led the Terre Haute Rex's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

James Doubet brought the heat against the Quincy Gems during his outing. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of Doubet, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Jake Wehde improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Quincy Gems. He allowed three runs over 4 2/3 innings. Wehde struck out three, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Clint Chestnut (1-1) took the loss for the Terre Haute Rex. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
