Ryan Light racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Quincy Gems. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Jake Busiek recorded his seventh win for the Quincy Gems even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Busiek struck out four, walked one and gave up five hits.

Andrew Moralez (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
