The Danville Dans (29-23) and the Hannibal Cavemen (21-31) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Danville Dans that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-1 win at Danville Stadium.

Keith Shumaker had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Cam Wysocki brought the heat against the Hannibal Cavemen during his outing. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just one hit off of the the Danville Dans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Mark Hendrick improved to 5-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Danville Dans. He allowed one run over six innings. Hendrick struck out six, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Jalen Miller couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked eight, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
