Zach Schira collected four hits as the Springfield Sliders (11-38) took home a 7-5 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (21-30) at Robin Roberts Field on Sunday.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.The Springfield Sliders relied on Chris Bradt to eat up innings en route to the win. Bradt allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings of work.
Dylan Terrell couldn't get it done on the mound for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out five.
