Tyler Knight had an impressive outing against the Champion City Kings' lineup. Knight held the Champion City Kings hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Jordan Sheinkop got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.
Aaron Cross ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
