He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.Corbin Olmstead's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Danville Dans past the Springfield Sliders. Olmstead allowed three earned runs on eight hits and one walk over 7 2/3 innings.
Zach Schira had a hot bat for the Springfield Sliders. Schira went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fifth, and ninth innings.
Chance Simpson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just nine innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
