Luke Mamer held the Lorain County Ironmen (16-23) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Champion City Kings (15-22) to a 2-0 victory.

Mamer allowed four hits, no walks and struck out four.

Trevor Lowe paced the Champion City Kings at the plate. Lowe went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

A bright spot for the Lorain County Ironmen in the defeat was Devin Daugherty, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Daugherty (0-3) took the loss for the Lorain County Ironmen.
