Mitch Gasbarro went 2-3 as the Quincy Gems (23-14) took home a 7-4 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (23-15) at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Saturday.

Kyle Cedotal struck out seven hitters en route to the the Quincy Gems win. Cedotal allowed one earned run on five hits and four walks over seven innings.

Tony Rosselli was hot from the plate for the Terre Haute Rex. Rosselli went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Tommy Strunc ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
