The Richmond RiverRats managed just two hits off of the the West Virginia Miners' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out one during his six innings of work.
Joe Schrimpf racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He singled in the sixth, eighth, and ninth innings.
Austin Conway ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
