Sunday was a great day for Brett Sullivan, as Sullivan tossed a shutout to carry the Butler Blue Sox (22-16) to a 1-0 victory over the Champion City Kings at Davidson Stadium in eight innings.

Sullivan held the Champion City Kings (15-22) scoreless during his eight innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up four.

Bradley Williams kept the Butler Blue Sox off the board during his seven innings of work. Williams struck out three and allowed no walks and three hits.

Evan Dunn (0-1) took the loss for the Champion City Kings. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
