Dylan Alexander went 2-4 as the Danville Dans (20-16) took home a 3-1 victory over the Butler Blue Sox (19-14) at Pullman Park on Saturday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh innings.The Butler Blue Sox couldn't get anything going so long as Garrison Stenger was on the hill. The Butler Blue Sox managed just two hits off of Stenger, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out two during his seven innings of work.
Cody Herald paced the Butler Blue Sox at the plate. Herald went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.
Denis Lyman allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.
