Chad Sedio collected three hits as the Chillicothe Paints (8-4) took home a 7-4 victory over the Richmond RiverRats (4-9) at VA Memorial Stadium on Wednesday.
He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.The Richmond RiverRats were led by Brendon Neel's hitting. Neel went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.
Patrick Riehl recorded his first win of the year for the Chillicothe Paints. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered four hits.
Reed Evans ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked none and struck out three.
