The Hannibal Cavemen (6-3) built an early lead against the Springfield Sliders (1-7), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-4 win on Saturday at Clemens Field.

Jalen Miller improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed three runs over five innings. Miller struck out four, walked three and gave up five hits.

Jake Haberer couldn't get it done on the bump for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
