He singled in the second and fifth innings.The Richmond RiverRats relied on Luke McGee to eat up innings en route to the win. McGee pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out one.
It was a good day at the plate for the Chillicothe Paints' Ronnie Dawson. Dawson went 2-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.
Lance Elder couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Chillicothe Paints, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
