The Marthas Vineyard Sharks make the most of 10 hits in 6-3 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights

Both the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (4-0) and the Nashua Silver Knights (2-2) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Marthas Vineyard Sharks that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-3 win at Vineyard Baseball Park.

Ryan Siegel reached base four times in the game for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He singled in the seventh inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights' Connor Lyons. Lyons went 4-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Matt Timoney got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over six innings. Timoney struck out five, walked none and gave up 11 hits.

Tim Cashman (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
