Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The Quebec take out the Saskatchewan with help from Leonard, 3-2

Story by Narrative Science.

Antoine Leonard went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Quebec (3-4) to a 3-2 victory in seven innings over the Saskatchewan (4-3) on Friday at Amede Roy.

He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

The Quebec relied on Alexis Lavergne to eat up innings en route to the win. Lavergne pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out three.

Aiden Larsen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
