The Falmouth Commodores (1-2) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Cotuit Kettleers (2-1) roared back to steal a 5-2 victory at Arnie Allen Diamond.
While the Falmouth Commodores led until the fourth inning, the Cotuit Kettleers worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Austin Byler.
Hunter Cole racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Christian Cecilio kept contact to a minimum, striking out five the Falmouth Commodores batters. Cecilio allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk over six innings.
Craig Schlitter (0-1) took the loss for the Falmouth Commodores. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
