A walk-off single from Nolan Clark brought home the winning run for the Cotuit Kettleers (2-1) in a 5-4 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (1-2) in 10 innings at Lowell Park on Wednesday.
It was a good day at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers' Clark. Clark went 2-3. He doubled in the eighth inning and singled in the second, sixth, and tenth innings.
Austin Byler put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the sixth inning, doubled in the eighth inning, and singled in the tenth inning.
Wesley Cox improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.
