The Cotuit Kettleers need walk-off single to beat the Falmouth Commodores, 5-4

A walk-off single from Nolan Clark brought home the winning run for the Cotuit Kettleers (2-1) in a 5-4 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (1-2) in 10 innings at Lowell Park on Wednesday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers' Clark. Clark went 2-3. He doubled in the eighth inning and singled in the second, sixth, and tenth innings.

Austin Byler put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the sixth inning, doubled in the eighth inning, and singled in the tenth inning.

Wesley Cox improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jared Price was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.

The Cotuit Kettleers were sparked by Rhett Wiseman and Byler, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
