The Falmouth Commodores (1-2) and the Cotuit Kettleers (3-2) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Falmouth Commodores that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-5 win at Arnie Allen Diamond.

Rhys Hoskins racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He doubled in the fifth and eighth innings.

The Cotuit Kettleers couldn't get anything going as long as Brent Stong was on the mound. Stong held the Cotuit Kettleers hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Danny Diekroeger racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the fifth inning.

Jared Price improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Price struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Jared Walsh couldn't get it done on the bump for the Cotuit Kettleers, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
