Don Andre Clark went 2-4, sparking the Anchorage Bucs (2-2) to a 4-2 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (3-1) on Friday at Mulcahy Field.
He singled in the third and seventh innings.The Anchorage Bucs relied on Kenny Smith to eat up innings en route to the win. Smith pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks while striking out five.
It was a good day at the plate for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Kevin White. White went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.
Kyle Bovy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
