Gary Stauff went 3-3 at the plate as the Las Vegas Train Robbers (41-27) took home a 5-3 victory over the Raton Osos (13-54) in seven innings at Gabrielle Field on Monday.
He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the sixth inning.Shane Casey did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Raton Osos, reaching base three times. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Travis Renwick got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over five innings. Renwick struck out two, walked two and gave up five hits.
Kellen Quintana (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
