The Falmouth Commodores (20-15) beat the Bourne Braves (16-19) 3-1 in seven innings on Sunday at Doran Park behind Leon Byrd Jr., who went 1-4 and hit a home run.

He homered in the third inning.

Trey Teakell picked up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Teakell allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Kyle Kubat couldn't get it done on the hill for the Bourne Braves, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
