Spencer Greer handled the Carolina Chaos' lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Greer allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over 4 2/3 innings.

Daniel Barfield improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Pineville Pioneers. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Barfield struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Taylor Vetzel (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
