The Gaithersburg Giants (15-9) took down the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (7-16) 11-2 on Sunday at Blair Stadium after slamming the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts with six runs in the fifth inning.

Chris Kashangaki put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Gaithersburg Giants. He tripled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh innings.

Brandon Estrain had an impressive outing against the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts' lineup. Estrain held the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Connor Hibbs improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Gaithersburg Giants. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Mac Gill couldn't get it done on the bump for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.

The Gaithersburg Giants' Josh Ingham, Kory Britton and Kashangaki combined for nine hits and five RBIs.
