The Dayton Docs (14-16) beat the Grand Lake Mariners (14-15) 7-5 on Sunday at Montgomery Field behind Grant Yoder, who had two extra base hits.

He doubled in the first inning, singled in the second and fourth innings, and homered in the ninth inning.

The Grand Lake Mariners couldn't get anything going as long as Ryan Koopman was pitching. Koopman gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Devin Daugherty (0-3) took the loss for the Grand Lake Mariners. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.

The Dayton Docs' Zak DeCamp, Austin Crutcher and Yoder combined for 10 hits and four RBIs.
