The Cotuit Kettleers (16-10) beat the Harwich Mariners (13-13) 6-2 on Monday at Lowell Park behind Mike Ford, who went 1-3 and hit a home run.

Patrick Corbett had an impressive outing against the Harwich Mariners' lineup. Corbett gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Dillon Peters was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Cotuit Kettleers batters and allowing three runs.

Ian Happ had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Peters ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
