The Peninsula Oilers (5-7) took down the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (7-8) 9-1 on Monday at Anchorage, Alaska after slamming the Anchorage Glacier Pilots with five runs in the ninth inning.

Adam Sonabend racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Peninsula Oilers. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh and ninth innings.

GJ Strauss recorded his third win of the year for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Michael RoBards ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out nine, and allowed four runs.
