Danny Mooney held the Gaithersburg Giants (5-3) scoreless for six innings to boost the Bethesda Big Train (6-2) to a 4-1 victory.

Mooney allowed three hits, one walk and struck out seven.

David Del Grande did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bethesda Big Train, reaching base four times. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Vincent Molesky ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
