The Anchorage Glacier Pilots get on top of the Chugiak Chinooks early but can't hang on in 4-3 loss

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (1-2) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-3 ballgame against the Chugiak Chinooks (1-2) on Sunday at Anchorage, Alaska.

The Chugiak Chinooks took the lead in the fourteenth inning on an RBI single by Jacob Murray.

Murray reached base four times in the game for the Chugiak Chinooks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh, twelfth, and fourteenth innings.

Bryce Clifton looked sharp on the mound. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of Clifton, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Kenneth Knudsen improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Chugiak Chinooks. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.

TJ Kendzora couldn't get it done on the bump for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed no runs.
