The Lexington Hustlers (1-6) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 2-1 to the So. Ohio Copperheads (7-0) on Friday.

The So. Ohio Copperheads relied on Jordan Peterson to eat up innings en route to the win. Peterson allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out one over six innings of work.

Shaun Meyer was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
