The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (9-17) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Youses Orioles (13-13), recording a 12-4 victory on Monday at Bachman Park.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts to put the game away early.

A groundout by Ian Glassman, a double by Cody Acker, an RBI single by Javy Marticorena, and a two-run single by Anthony Gatto during the first inning and a three-run triple by Marticorena in the second inning fueled the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts' offense early.

Acker had three extra-base hits for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts.

Chris Fusco looked sharp on the mound. The Youses Orioles managed just one hit off of Fusco, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

KJ Hockaday boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Youses Orioles. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Chris Flores improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He allowed four runs over four innings. Flores struck out two, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Ryan Stinar couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Youses Orioles, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked three and struck out three.
