An eight-run explosion in the sixth inning led the Ontario (3-1) to an 11-0 win in six innings over the Qu��bec two at Napoleon-Fontaine on Saturday.

Brinley McLaren racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Ontario. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Brittany Chan got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Chan struck out two, walked two and gave up one hit.

Cindy Northorp (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
