Holden Cammack went 1-1 as the Lake Norman Copperheads (11-9) took home a 5-1 victory over the Carolina Vipers (9-12) in seven innings at Hopewell HS on Monday.

Chris Hassold improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Norman Copperheads. He allowed one run over five innings. Hassold struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Tyler Byrnes couldn't get it done on the bump for the Carolina Vipers, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
