The Ontario drub the Alberta, 7-1

Story by Narrative Science.

The Alberta (0-2) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Ontario (2-0) won in blowout fashion, 7-1 in seven innings at Julien Morin.

The Ontario scored three runs in the first on an RBI double by Colin Robinson, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Nicholas ONeil.

It was a good day at the plate for the Ontario's ONeil. ONeil went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run.

Alec Miller looked sharp on the mound. Miller held the Alberta hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Mitchell Bigras improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Ontario. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Cole Slamko ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
