The British Columbia (2-0) and the Quebec (0-2) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the British Columbia that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Julien Morin.

Justin Lawrence was hot from the plate for the British Columbia. Lawrence went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Charles Leblanc had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and seventh innings.

Colton Wood got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked six and surrendered five hits.

Hugo Brochu couldn't get it done on the mound for the Quebec, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
