A walk-off single from Zack Cadet brought home the winning run for the Alexandria Aces (6-6) in a 6-5 victory over the San Angelo Colts in 10 innings at Bringhurst Field on Tuesday.
Cadet had a hot bat for the Alexandria Aces. Cadet went 2-6 and drove in one. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the tenth inning.
Derrick Pyles did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Alexandria Aces, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Gabe Grammer brought the heat against the San Angelo Colts (6-6) during his outing. Grammer held the San Angelo Colts hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six.
